US TPMS Legislation 
In 2000, US parliament approved TREAD Act which required that all vehicles described in the ruling,sold in US must have a TPMS by Model Year 2008. The version last revised in May 2006 states that all newly manufactured vehicles from September 1st,2007 must be fitted with TPMS.

European TPMS Legislation
European introduces series of requirements for safety and environment imposing mandatory adoption of LRRT and TPMS for the newly manufactured vehicles from 2012.

Chinese TPMS Legislation
In July 31st ,2007 ,the work group of draft standard ,which is conducted by China Auto Technology Research Center and consists of more than ten enterprises including OEM manufacturers, detection and scientific research institutions, TPMS manufacturers , sensors and chips manufacturers and etc. , held the first meeting for TPMS Standards Research , the work group foundation and their work , and started the work of standard stipulation . The script of seeking opinions for standards has formed by May 2008. And the requested document of audit for the standards was occupied in Dec. in the same year.
